Manage billing, devices and updates

Updated

Need an invoice, a refreshed plan or room for a replacement Mac? Start in Account & License.

This guide explains which control to use for each task, so you can manage access without starting another purchase by mistake.

It also covers the checks to make before updating LLMIC. Keep billing decisions separate from installation: removing the app does not cancel a subscription.

Pick the action that matches your goal

  1. Access looks wrong
Check the account, then use Restore access.
  2. Need billing records
    Use Manage billing or Invoices.
  3. Replacing a Mac
Review Active Macs and the device to deactivate.
  4. Installing an update
Back up work and review the official release notes.

Signing out, deleting the app and deactivating a Mac do not themselves cancel recurring billing.

Access looks wrong? Check the account first

Open Settings → Account & License and confirm the signed-in identity, plan and access information. Use Restore access when a completed purchase or account change has not appeared yet.

Check the result before starting another checkout. If the identity is wrong, use Sign out / switch account, then authenticate with the account that owns the subscription.

Find your billing portal and invoices

Use Manage billing or Invoices to follow the secure website flow. Paddle handles the customer billing experience.

Read the options and renewal information in the portal before making changes. If the handoff fails, record the visible error reference and try a fresh action from the app.

Old handoff links may not be reusable, so avoid treating a saved browser URL as a permanent billing bookmark.

Review the Macs using your subscription

Open the subscription management panel and inspect Active Macs. The panel marks the current device and provides available deactivation actions.

Deactivating a Mac stops its access until it is activated again; it is not a command to erase every exported file or cancel billing. Identify the device carefully before removing it, particularly when several machines have similar names.

Back up your work before updating

Use the official download page and review its release notes and compatibility information. Back up important work before replacing an existing installation and close the app first.

Follow any release-specific guidance instead of assuming every migration has been tested on every Mac. A signed and notarized package still needs practical compatibility checks for the environment in which you use it.

Get help with a billing question

Keep your receipt or transaction reference when requesting help, but do not send payment-card details or passwords. Review the current terms and refund policy for billing conditions.

Use the customer portal for cancellation options and confirm the resulting renewal status there. Signing out and switching accounts are not substitutes for managing a recurring subscription.
