Prism: Keyword Research Tool for ChatGPT (“the Extension”) is a browser extension created by Sanjay Kumar Monu (“we,” “us,” or “our”). We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it. This Privacy Policy explains how our extension handles your data.

2. Data Collection and Storage

We do not collect, transmit, or store your personal data.

  • No Remote Servers: The Extension does not send any data to external servers managed by us. We do not have a database of your keywords, chats, or personal information.
  • Local Storage: All keyword data, project lists, and preferences are stored locally on your device using the browser’s chrome.storage.local API. This data never leaves your browser environment.
  • Data Ownership: You own the data you generate. You can export it to CSV or delete it from the extension at any time.

3. Permissions and Usage

The Extension requires specific permissions to function. Here is why we need them:

  • Storage: Used to save your captured keywords and settings on your local device.
  • Host Permissions (chatgpt.com): Used strictly to intercept the internal network requests within the ChatGPT interface to detect keyword data. We do not monitor your browsing history on any other websites.

4. Third-Party Services

  • OpenAI (ChatGPT): The Extension functions as an add-on for ChatGPT. Your interactions with ChatGPT are governed by OpenAI’s own Privacy Policy. We do not have access to your OpenAI account credentials.
  • Gumroad (Payments): Licensing and payments are handled securely by Gumroad. We do not process or store your credit card information. When you activate a Pro License, the extension verifies your License Key with Gumroad’s API to unlock features.

5. Children’s Privacy

The Extension is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
